Well unfortunately as far as I can see they aren't really that bothered at VW!!  I rang again this morning; (3rd time since beginning of Nov) 'Kelly' informed me that I had been mis-informed and until we receive a letter to then make contact again with VW to start a 'Case' no plaque will appear.

I've got a case number from phoning them up but haven't received a letter.  I've not received the plaque yet and was told it would be 1-2 months. As soon as the 2 months is up (which should be soon) I'll be on the blower again with my case number in my hand

 i received my letter 16th of december from vw about the plaque, but STILL HAVENT received a plaque.

I chased VW back in November. was given a case number and told a letter would follow then a plaque.

Well another month has passed neither has arrived, so another phone call to VW before christmas and told the same again, since then nowt, zip, zero....diddly squat...

STILL NO F'ING plaque!!!!

VW are still saying "they are sent out in batches sir".

So I asked if they can find out when my batch is being sent out... "no we cant check sir"

Bloody ridiculous! there must be a tracking system surely?!

Hey guys  just wee update got a letter from vw   phoned them up spoke to nice chap called Nick really helpful said it will be dispatched in a couple of weeks (We'l wait and see)   Also told me my car went into production 10th of Jan 2007  so hopefully I get a low number
