Washed it and took the winter wheels off, forgotten how much I love the Watkins Glens!

Got complimented on it.

Had a site meeting with a chap today at work and as we were walked back to our cars, he saw mine and commented on how great it was and how he'd always loved the GTI but never owned one.  Told me he was picking up a new mk7 GT 1.4 TSI next week.  Said he’d thought about test driving the GTI but resisted it as he knew it would make his decision harder as he is aiming for something more economical this time, having formerly had a 911 - that’ll be a bit of a change for him.  Told him I was going the other way and going for the R next
Spent about 15 minutes discussing work and the rest of the hour chatting about cars.  Always nice to meet a fellow enthusiast who appreciates a nice car.

Don't think so booth. Just scuffed underside of front splitter. To be fair it's not the first time it's happened. Scuffed it in a multi storey car park and on a few kerbs when parking before!

Cleaned the shiny steering wheel, gentle use of magic eraser works a treat.

Normal leather cleaner not cutting it, so magic eraser followed by a small amount of leather conditioner.
