Title: single wiper

i moved across my single wiper set up from my 8v to the rallye last weekend. took ages as my god how fiddly is it getting the wiper motor out!? on the 8v i had it sat on the passenger side. in the instructions it says if you have a rallye to put it in front of the driver, so i did.

to me, looks wise it's fine. how it works makes sense as well as it clears the view in front of the driver first. now i have noticed that most lhd golfs put the single wiper parked position in front of the passenger. so am i looking like a muppet for putting it the other way round?

ah, fook it. i like it as is, i answered my own question... i think :)

What's the appeal of a single-wiper? Is it just a style thang?
