New GTI - Play/Knock at top of brake pedal
« on: 26 February 2018, 21:19 »
Hi,

When pressing the brakes there is usually a noticeable bit on the first part of the travel where its like there is a bit of play. Almost a bit of a knock through the foot at times.

Its pretty minor and most would probably not notice it. But coming from a BMW with a perfect brake pedal feel I'm quite disappointing in this 'feature'.

Has anybody else noticed it? (as in... is it normal)

Thanks

Are you sure the brake pedal was perfect on your BMW as most of them never seem to use the brakes and just sit an inch from the back of other cars

 I think lots of Audi brake pedals must also be less than perfect.
