Thank you Exonian! He's kindly posted on my behalf. You may recall I mentioned I was going to get some GTI sill plates made myself...well, this is them! It is a sample set that I have got made from Grade 316 (The best) Stainless Steel with painted GTI logo, I'm very impressed with them, as soon as I have tested them on a MK8 I'll be offering them for sale, in the meantime, what do fellow GTI enthusiasts think?

Do they account for the little ridge on the Golf’s cill?

How is the red lettering done? Is it red tape behind the metal?

After just over 7 weeks and 1200 miles I have sold my ED45. Decided in the end to keep the ED40. Even though the MK8 is great it never won me over and I preferred the ED40.

Reasons, I prefer a manual and never got on with the DSG, prefer the steering feel of the MK7 and think it’s a better looking car. Prefer the Dynaudio too, it just sounds fuller and more premium to my ears at least.

I will miss those IQ lights though. The ED45 is a fantastic car with devastating cross country speed, it just never captured my heart and it was a touch too digital for me.

I'm currently awaiting a number of different 3M foam adhesive tape samples to trial, stay tuned! I won't be launching to market until I know these will work perfectly.

No, it's not red tape, its precision engraved then has a unique, multi step painting process.

These will be a product with very high specifications, I don't do things in half measures.
