Every time I ask, I’m polite and patient yet get told “as it’s unconfirmed, I cannot share this information, please contact your dealer”

I just went on live chat and asked for an update, it took about ten minutes of waiting but they just came back with that reply. To be fair this is the very first time I have chased this. Maybe they have a ledger with black dots next to names who go on every day asking for updates. (Of course I'm joking). Maybe.

Maybe the do  , I only ask once a week (every Monday), maybe this is too often, but then again maybe they shouldn’t have deleted the tracker

Perhaps I’ll ask Friday afternoon when they’re in a better mood.

Just used the vw online chat (for the first time). My edition 45 is currently in the build phase from the 13th of September. They said the build phase can take up to 15 working days and it shouldn't be long now before an update and to contact them again next week for an update if I wanted to 🙂

I didn't think I'd be seeing it till next year so this has put a smile on my face.

I ordered on the first bank holiday in April (UK) pure white, HK, pan roof, DCC, head up display, winter pack, boot liner.

Collection booked for next Wednesday 9am. Pictures to follow. It will have taken 88 days from order to collection.. I’m happy, but gutted for all those who are still waiting... even for a confirmed build week!!

Great news for you two who's cars are nearly ready to collect. I see Pelmiester's spec is almost identical to mine, maybe they can't source the black paint for mine for another 3 months, oh well.

Anyway I never worried about when mine might be ready as it's out of my hands and constantly checking won't speed up the process at all, I went into it with the philosophical approach knowing of chip shortages and that pandemic thing we are in that it would be subject to delays but as I said it's good news that some are filtering through. Enjoy your new cars people.

Ordered late June. My original unconfirmed build was week 42. Chased last week and told it's week 36 confirmed but they are running behind schedule. Will chase again in 2 weeks.
