Ordered on the 3rd of July, I must admit I’m shocked it’s happening so quickly considering the hassle and wait other people are experiencing.

No i believe it was a fresh order, she said I was the first to order in the area. The spec is kings red, DCC, h/k sound system, and winter pack.

What’s the spec of yours and when are you expecting it?

That's a very impressive lead time I must admit. I ordered in July, dealer advised an 8 month wait which I was fine with as have managed to get myself a brand new UP GTI to use in the meantime. He has said he could amend spec on one and that could be here in November, but I'd rather wait.

Spec is Moonstone Grey with DCC, Winter Pack and Rear View Camera.

My UP GTI is kings red with black roof and must say it looks very good!

Wife ordered a new Cupra Leon yesterday. It comes in October. Having said that no idea where they are made.

Wife ordered a new Cupra Leon yesterday. It comes in October. Having said that no idea where they are made.

The Seat Leon is built in Spain, so the Cupra Leon probably is as well.

Your wife’s car could have been one that the dealer ordered some time ago and was already in the system, hence the short lead time. Having said that, options on Cupras are bundled into standardised option packs so there will be far fewer possible build permutations than there are with a Golf, which probably makes for a less complex, quicker build process with reduced lead times.

Seat will be affected by the semiconductor shortages in the same way that VW is though.

Hi all, I’m new here and just wanted to update you.

Ordered May 25th… kings red CS 45, DCC, HK and winter pack.

I called the dealer the other day who said I’m unscheduled for build week 44. He also said that his CS 45 demo car had been postponed as all VW stock cars were being delayed to push out customer orders first, if true, I thought this was very decent of VW.

Whilst decent of them to do it I feel its not going to make much of a difference.

I am only aware of one CS45 (not for vw or press) being in the UK.

They might as well call it the Clubsport 46 at this rate.
