I don't think I've done mine properly.  Getting into first and second is a proper mission now.

To be honest I wasn't expecting much, but just took it up the road and back down again and it does feel a lot better!

Verdict:

After taking the car for a proper drive my verdict is this is definitely a worthwhile modification that is cheap and easy to do. It is noticeable when driving the car and makes driving that bit better. It is not a huge difference but definitely worth £20 and half an hour!

by following this guide, what does this do? it this just for re-setting your shifter after replacing it with a TT one, or is this a guide to show resetting your current one to what it would have been like out of factory?

Both.  Sets the shift pattern back to nominal positions.  I'll be doing this at the weekend.   :wink:
