big VW show at santa pod!! And again it falls on same
weekend as edition 38! Think it'll be edition 38 again for

illbe there this year unlike last year convoy'ed with a few pals 2 of which had old beetles and one of which broke down making us miss half a day with me triyng to sort ignition problem!

Unfortunately it never is these days Len, action always loses out to Ed38 :(
The plan at the minute is for Andy to get there at the crack of dawn and bag a prime spot in general camping.

I`m going to bell the organiser type dude types tomorrow for the gen on gate times. I`m sure they have specified 12noon in the past but I`ve rolled in at 9.

Hi,
Unfortunately, because of my mother-in-law having to go to hospital, we've had to delay our planned holiday. We're now away and won't be back until Monday so will miss this :cry:
Shame as the weather is looking really good and we would have brought the cab :sad:

Action is on a far better site with great facilities and you can take car down strip! Or watch strip action.
To me thats a no brainer!
What else can you do at ED38?
Yes ED38 has better cars to look at, which is why I will be going over there Sunday morning.

It's always annoyed me that these two events are on at the same time...........they always have been!
ED38 takes a lot of watercooled away from Action, no doubt about it and a shame.
Len's solution is the one I would always go with. Best of both worlds and family entertainment for everyone for the whole weekend :cool:

I cant see the pull of ED38 unless you like show & shine but i like the strip to much :grin: so thats where ill be

it`s for whatever floats your boat, as an all rounder action is the one and have never been to a bad one, ed38 is obviously aimed at a totally different audience.
ideal scenario for me is action fri/sat then sun at ed38.
but it`s also the peeps who you roll with to the show that make up my mind :smiley:
so i`ll be at ed38 but not really for the show more a weekend with mates :cool:
