Sidelights relocated into indicators

Just finished doin them tonite. Put my sidelights into my big bumper indicators. Think it makes the front end look meaner at nite. Have pic soon. Just waiting for it to be accepted

Indicators are in the same unit just with orange bulbs.

I think SWG sell the indicators with the sidelight holes in them? dunno how well the orange can be seen at night though

I put my hazards on before and had a look and all you can see is orange, then they just go white again. R&A do them aswel, thats where i got the idea from.

My cars in a bit of a state at the moment cos im in the middle of doing the rear arches and sorting out some rust and the big bumpers still need spraying. Ill take some later on anyway. Think the lights are about ?40. Or you could make your own student style like me

it wouldn't be too hard to wire up a relay either to make the sidelight turn off when the indicator light came on to ensure it was 'amber'

But surely that would be illegal if you had flashing sidelights
. My mates got the R&A ones in his golf and it sailed through its MOT.

they do look different!
as long as they flash there proper colours then it will pass the mot....
