Well I've been down the garage for an hour after work and got the fuel pump fitted, but its not working, hopefully its just missing a relay. Then I just have to connect up some hoses and it should be good to go

Might Be Useful

Already written down all the info I need from that ready for tomorrow evening, hopefully its as simple as that to get fuel coming through under the bonnet

Just make sure that when you do get it going it only primes on Live ignition and doesn't run on.

Well I've had it running tonight, although very badly, and not on petrol... but WD40 sprayed down the intake! Ran for about a minute, popping and farting. So I now have a spark, but obviously no petrol is being injected. Any ideas?

Tried another metering head, cracked off unions, fuel squirts out, but engine won't run, so could be faulty injectors. Losing mojo! So I got the front coilovers on and let the polo borrow its wheels so I don't have to drive around on the pink and blue monstrosities. Here she is looking sorry for herself

And I gave the golf some sick rims and camber!

Indeed they are, hence why I put the golf's wheels on the polo for the time being, I'l paint the pink ones black when I get chance and swap them back over.
