well hello all in this forum glad to be part of an official gti site,
i have looked through each thread and topics and noticed you
have one for mk2 gti's which is very helpfull.
being the proud owner of my first vw golf gti 1.8 8v 1989
i dont know if you have a section on show us your motor if so can
someone please tell me how to put pic's on here so i can post my
car for people to see,

First of all welcome to the forum mate, you can either post your pictures in the gallery, or host them on a free webhost such as photobucket.com and link them into here on either a post or your signiture, if you are not sure how to do this let me know and I will tell you hows it done.

and tried to post pic of car but its only the link

You need to go to your profile and put the img tags at the beginning and the end e.g.[ img]http://yourURL[ /img] Note: No space after the first "[" on the beginning and end img tags.
