The pessimist:
With the increasing likelihood that I'll be without 4 wheels for some time
, I dusted my trusty Harley
off at the weekend and took it for a spin before making any decision on MOT & tax. Approaching my street there was a MK 6 Golf coming in the opposite direction but was slowing and in the centre of the road.
Only when I got up real close could I see the indicator flashing signalling his intention to take a right turn; i didn't notice the mirror repeater. This is just a note of warning that oncoming vehicles may not pick up on your indicators as you are more taken by and alterted to the DRL's.
It may be though that: I'm getting old, I was sitting higher than I would be in a car or a combination of both!
