Reflex Silver in evening light
« on: 19 July 2009, 12:23 »
Well, friday I could pick up my MKVI GTI. Haven't driven it much yet, but first impression is great. The DSG is a hoot, I love the Blurps when shifting up, really enjoy the downshifting noise it makes when shifting back at higher revs. This engine is just really smooth, gentle when cruising, racy when you want it.

Below some quick pics I made in the evening sun. It makes the Silver stand out. It blends very well in traffic, I enjoy not everybody noticing the 200 BHP+ at a first glance.

Specs:

5 Drs
DSG
RNS510
PDC (put in after delivery in colour, looks great)
Multi Media Box (I have a 16 GB USB stick with almost all my music)
Jacky Cloth (which I love)
18" wheels

Hope you enjoy it. Not too many silver pics on the Web...

nice pics, i really like the way the shadow accentuates the slide crease, makes it look more angular and edgy than the Mk5 which I like :)

tell us more about how it drives
