A true woody is a Station Wagon where the back has a structure of wood. Only car this side of atlantic that had it was the Morris Traveller.
There are lots of fake woody's where they stick a bit of wood veneer onto the metal of the car.
That photo is a fake woody!

The photo was just a joke, Yanks were mad for it in the 50's... some yanks paint that sh*t on now! They were still mad for it in the 80's on their stationwagons but used vinyl!

this is a really fake woody.
