I must see at least 5 GTi's every week day  :laugh: The very ocassional R32 and I've probably only ever seen 3 other Edition 30's since I've had mine.

No ED30's where I live apart from mine (Billericay, Essex) but regularly see lots of GTI's and R32s. I sometimes flash or wave to other drivers but they just ignore me.

I had an old Camper 10 years ago and my arm used to get sore from all the waving to fellow Camper Drivers on long journeys!!  :laugh:

run up to Glasgow fri , then back today : attempted an economy run : 425 miles : 37MPG! on single tank at a very frustrating 70mph!

saw 3 R32's , 2 black ,1 blue and 5dr black GTI on way up
then on way back today , 1 red 5dr ED30 , 1 black 08 GTI

oh and a cayman driver really pushing it at high speed in the damp! I could actually see the rear squatted digging into the road! Either really talented or really stupid...

VERY shiney red GTI with 18'' Monza's on the A34 heading towards Birmingham at about 08:10 this morning. Those Monza's were catching the sun a treat  :cool:
