replace passenger side window in my golf gti

Hi
I have a1998 r reg that makes it a mark 3 doesnt it .
also i have got to replace the glass in the passenger side window, the glass smashed and i have got a replacement one, i have got limited experiance doing this kind of job  will i be alright doing it myself.

Easy as pie.

Remove door card by removing the inner door handle (it separates) then undo the two screws behind it.
Remove door pin and then pop the door card off (feels like its going to break). Remove plugs for window switch and speaker.
Peel back the lining and put the window down till you can see the two bolts that hold the window.
Undo them and remove any old broke glass, slide new glass down (at a angle).

Just make sure you line the glass up before tightening everything up ;)

i thought i had cleared most of the glass but after pressing the button i can here the glass being crunched in the motor so i think i may have to take this off as well and clean.
