after fixing the new abs sensor from vw the problem still persists!

i had vag on it today adn it threw up this fault G45 front right sensor, i have noticed that the grinding noise only happens when no warnign lights are on i.e yellow triangle and asb light, if the asb light and the yellow triangle are on which is usually after the forst time i brake then i dotn get the slow speed grinding noise... pls shed light

take the wheel off and have a look around for signs of the metal wearing, any sharp edges or shiny metal.
it wont be the abs sensor as you already had a new one fitted

cant see it being the actual sensor, I would have thought the abs ring on the hub.
can you jack the car up and rotate the wheel to see if you can hear anything :undecided:

If it only grinds when the lights are on maybe something is activating not sure what, like your brakes or something causing the noise, im no expert but just reading thru this i thought i'd share my thought.

the think is as steve pd says the ring and the end of the abs have tiny surface areas and this grind noise is more a deeper heavier impact what am trying to say is i dont think if them two bits rubbed the niose wud be as loud as what i have
