Hi guys,
I'm 19 but am turning 20 at the start of September. From July 10 I will have 3 years no claims, currently I am with admiral on their 10 month policy which allocates 1 years no claims.
I am yet to buy the car, but it will be a 3 door MK5 GTI 2.0.
The mods I will add (over time) will be different alloys, coil overs, tints, induction kit, back box.
Currently I can get insured by drivelikeagirl (a black box company) for £1300, which I'm happy with. But what I'm not happy with is that they don't allow any mods
Iv'e heard good things about GreenLight Insurance.
What companies would you suggest?
Cheers!

Ah Greenlight is 21+

I just called up, got told I can't get insured fully comp, didn't even get asked if I wanted TPFT, then asked what my best quote so far is, I said £2,000 and the guy just said "that's good." and nothing else, was a very weird phone call..
Oh well.. black box and no mods here I come :embarrassed:

Ax I said, we can only entertain TPFT cover. Please let me know your phone number if you'l like to go through a TPFT quotation with us.
Thanks

I understand that, and I can see why. Just the guy on the phone wasn't the most helpful and didn't offer any alternatives, such as TPFT. But to be honest being fully comp is pretty important for me I guess. Thanks anyway though, I'll come back to you guys in a few years!

Wouldn't quote me online, so I tried over the phone. The guy was really friendly and helpful, but again it got declined and he said it was due to my age and the power of the vehicle :undecided:
