Cheers fella... On a mission to get the exhaust sorted properly before next and final show.  Might actually be able to set the motor up better then.  After that it could be engine out time!  :lipsrsealed:

Rebuild to OE+ spec?

iirc your 8v was almost as powerful as stock 16v? :lipsrsealed:

Not been on here much really for the last week, Man Flu and home commitments got in the way.  I wanted to take the car to VW Action but have decided that because the Tax runs out tomorrow and it's got some outstanding issues that are affecting it's running, it's probably wise to take it off the road now, plus I am very poor at the moment.

I will be doing as much as I can myself!  :lipsrsealed:

I will still be coming to Action but in the daily.  :sad:
