Why bother with locking wheel bolts?

Surely when it arrives in the scrapyard you'll leave the key to them in the boot?

When did you last see a car with its wheels nicked?

Is it that pikey where you are?!

And more to the point, who is going to want to nick mk3 wheels at all, lockers are pointless in the 21st century...

2 cars in the last year have had wheels niked from my area (even had the boot broke into and the spare gone)

they also tried mine, but couldn't get the lockers off.

I live in a reasonably nice area too...

People still nick wheels. Even standard ones. A bag of smack is a bag of smack. Less risk than the usual kick your door in and demand the keys approach for the whole car. We even had a face off stereo taken on my street that had the face taken off!
