Sorry its been asked a thousand times but is it boiled linseed oil or just plain linseed oil,i used the search but cant find a deffinitive answer and the shop shuts in 20 mins,thanks

Boiled. And don't forget to throw the cloth away afterwards, preferably in a metal bin as it will heat up and combust.

Yep, seriously.

Ask Tim AKA Aquablue, as the rag he used got very very hot and I have heard of fires involving disgarded rags.
