Which clay?
« on: 17 July 2010, 18:29 »
With halfords doing a buy 1 get 1 free on all their cleaning products im wondering which clay kit to buy.

Either the autoglym one.

http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_764457_langId_-1_categoryId_165671

OR the megs kit.

Has anyone used either? Are they any good?

You can't really go wrong with either, I do like the Meg's clay, i'm yet to try the Autoglym so I would probably go with the AG just for something different.

I have both kits and I prefer the AG kit, the Rapid Detailer makes a far better clay lube than Megs QD, the clay is easier to work and fold and is every bit if not more effective than the megs clay. I also prefer the Super resign polish to the polish you get in the Megs kit. It's all personal opinion I know but if I didnt have my Bilt Hamber clay I reach for the Autoglym one every time.
