Mk3 Golf 1997 8v agg won't start

Hi all new to this but I'm running out of ideas.

Anyway used the car day before all worked fine no running issues at all but then next day car wouldn't start it cranks but not firing.
fuel pump primes as normal check the plugs for spark no spark.

I've changed the ignition coil, still the same I've done the dizzy cap rota arm testesd all the leads plugs tested the crank position sensor (replaced about a month ago) tested the ecu and fuel pump relays nothing still no spark.

when removing the coil lead from the dizzy cap I tested for spark to engine block, I get one spark when I turn ignition on but when cranking over I get nothing so far been a bit of a Parts cannon but I'm running out of ideas.

any ideas would be greatly appreciated

I have found the issue.
turns out it was the stupid crank position sensor wasn't even changed that long ago but low and behold put a new one in and the car started straight away so if anyone else reads this and has issues..
start with the coil pack if not replace the crank position sensor if still doesn't work then go down the route of changing the dizzy cap arm ect. 💪
