Mine is up this month also.

Slightly older  at 34 but I need business use and the wife added who is 29.
I have a TS10, she has an SP30.

I have 9+ NCD, she has 5.

Cheapest so far is Privilege, Adrian Flux and e-sure (via confused.com) all about £ 510-£530.
Included protected NCD and legal protection.

Which i think is steep.

Would have been about £ 430 without the TS10.

I'm waiting for a reply from Greenlight Insurance.  Incidentally HIC quoted £ 1200

That sounds biblically wrong! I'm 20 and will have 1 NCB as of August, no accidents or points etc, my parents as named drivers on a 2005 MK5 GTI, parked on the road, £1000.

Damn, I don't get insurance companies tbh. Have you added on your parents too? As that's what I've done. You're allowed to add them even if you don't live in the same place.
