yeah, im looking to decat and remove the midbox too, so i might see what boxes are about and pick up an el cheapo one..

im after a cheap 2l 8v mk4 exhaust mani but cant find one for sh!t
Mk3 Golf Gti:Full Milltek system and Decat,K&N filter,mk2 Cam,-1.5 degree camber shims, borbet a's, toyo proxies,hot tuning coils, brembo vented discs, greenstuff pads...Soon to have Eaton Power

mk3 16v 5dr Gti,mintex extreme pads,drilled/grooved discs,lowered,cat back powerflow system,omp panel filter with modified airbox,debadged grill, started prep for spraying, lots to come :D

rear box was £70 delivered from ebay germany!!

Hi mate, is it possible to send me a link to this seller and also once fitted on to your car can you put a photo of it? I have 8v 97 and i want replace mine with OEM style type, but I don't want it to stick of the bumper too much or look to OTT, thanks

Indeed, the last owner (and owner from new!!!) was like a 50 year old lady, she had all the work done on it, no problems, but she replaced it with sh!t. It sounds awful. I will probably get a nice sports exhaust. Something sexy but not to chavy! :D

I bet she took it to Kwik Fit for a cheap back box! Not exactly treating it well! :wink: :laugh:

The Metro was obviously more her style!

probably, either way, she owned it from new. And im pretty sure she didnt redline it to 85 in third. LOL

Cant redline a Gti! Unless the rev limiter aint working! :evil:

pfft if you aint had it bouncing off the limiter in 5th you aint driving it hard enough...

shes gets all the nice bits, nice new oil, fresh shoes to go dancing... then shes gets to show me how fun she really is...

although the shoes she has on the back right now dont like the wet haha
