Did exactly the same yesterday. 3 weeks now without a wash    Was hoping to get another layer of wax on it.  Still, the nonstop rain has at least washed away all the crusted on mud, so not all bad 

Tomorrow's looking better so there's a bit of hope. I tell a lie really, I did go out to the car for a bit. Took off the front grill to have a look behind and confirm my suspicions that one of the clips on my gti badge is broken (it likes to rotate about 20 degrees). Suspect it'll be horrendous money if I ask VW how much one is considering they're going for £30 plus shipping on the bay. Added to list of jobs to do!

Yeah I've just the pics on your other thread.  Not your average stone chip, that's some big crack 
Lucky it stayed intact.  I've been in the front of a car when the whole windscreen went and it was not a pleasant experience!

sadly yes, my insurance companys glass company  couldnt do it for 3 days so got it done myself the same day !!!!
