Massive fan of the new Boxster, beautiful looking car, would love one

I kind of miss my old boxster (987 mark 2 2.7) because personally the handling was amazing- way better than this Golf gti, my Audi TT mark 2 etc.....   Not practical in the slightest but the handling and feel of the steering wheel must be driven to be appreciated.  The driving position is superb and the sound is awesome especially when you turn the ignition on.  I think sports exhaust is a must as I test drived the mark Boxster S with sports exhaust and that was even better-  you could feel the whole car vibrating even whilst the car was not moving. Still got a pic..

My dad changed it last March to this.....
AND........ its got about 300 miles on the clock at present.  Sadly its more in the garage than on the road.  Maybe it gets used once in 2 weeks to the city centre......  it has pdk, sports chrono.....

Well we have just done a deal on a new 120d M Sport for the wife, so the Gti will be going end Sep pending availability.

All mods coming off on Saturday and car put back to standard, I have enjoyed it for the 18 months we will have had it but its time for a change and something a bit cheaper to run, and more importantly a car that I can't mod and waste money on  :embarrassed:

Spec is Mineral Grey, Visibility Pack, Comfort Pack, Sun Protection Pack and BMW Speaker upgrade, will be her first new car and she is very excited which was the main aim.

Did look at and test drive the 125d and also the M135i but sensible head ruled on final spec and what we were happy paying as monthly figure.

Good choice mate. The 120d is plenty quick enough and especially looks good in mineral grey with the m sport body kit. Glad you went for the visibility pack which is a must and the drls give the car a great road presence.

First mods then......

M P full black gloss kidney grilles (a must IMO)

Maybe the M P twin exhaust tail pipes only for asthetics (will need to buy a new rear diffuser also though)

Ps did you go five door?

Nice showroom picture here of the mineral grey..... I'm not sure about the BMW klu klux klan salesman in the background though

Not allowed to mod it, can't even have my private plate on it so its gone on 3 years retention

We have gone 3 door as it looks a bit sportier IMO, and we rarely need the back seats.
