GTI Mk7 Pricing
« on: 19 August 2020, 17:41 »
Test drove a couple of GTI MK7s (PP and adaptive dampers) today for c.£14.5-16k, all with c.40k miles and from VW dealers. Very close to walking away with one, but just wondering whether it's worth the wait until the MK8 pushes prices down a wee bit. Does anyone have a view on this price range, and whether I should wait?

Cheers!

Depends if what you were looking at was a 5 door or 3 door in m opinion bcos I have a feeling 3dr manual prices will go up once people realise that aren't being made anymore

A GTi is only ever a GTi I it's red or black and a 3 door manual petrol
Mk6 Gti - current daily
Mk3 16v Anni - retired daily now parked on 200,300 miles

MK8 date still not announced for the UK, when it does, it will likely be another 6 months before any significant numbers start turning up. How long are you prepared to wait?
2019 Oryx White 5dr TCR.

Yeah I had been trying to figure out that timing and sounds about right. To be honest 6 months is exactly when I would be looking at!
