Wheel Sealants - As Dan says (seabrook132) I'd consider Gtechniq C5 Wheel Armour for a proper 'wheels off car' sealant. I've got some but not yet tried it but some trusted fellow amateur detailers swear by it, so that's good enough for me.
http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/index.php?_a=viewProd&productId=878At the moment I've temporarily got Gtechniq C2v3 on but that is not as long lasting as the C5 though it appears to be doing a good job and when I washed the car last week, the dirt just flew off.
Another trusted well known sealant is Poorboys Wheel Sealant. But it's a bright pink paste and I found that it's a pain on black wheels as it gets into all the crevices and is a pita to get out and is visible due to being pink (my mk6 GTI had black alloys).

http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/index.php?_a=viewProd&productId=197Wax - I’ve tried quite a few over the years but my all time tried and tested favourites are DoDo Juice waxes and Collinite waxes.
Obviously I have a black car but if I had RS like you have it’s well worth looking at DoDo Juice waxes. These are hybrid synthetic/carnauba waxes and are more durable and longer lasting than non hybrid waxes. You should get about 3 months life out of them on average and if you apply over a traditional sealant then this will further improve the lifespan of the wax.

Another DoDo Juice wax worth a look is Supernatural Hybrid which gives a brilliant glassy shine.

I also love Collinite waxes. All Collinite waxes have a great finish, are reasonably priced and some are incredibly durable and long lasting.
http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/index.php?_a=viewBrand&brandId=7I'm currently testing out Swissvax Onyx on my bonnet and details of this are in my thread of the same name. The wax only went on last weekend so it’s early days and I willl update that thread as time goes on with respect to the performance of the wax. I’m also going to be trying Swissvax Best of Show (which has a higher carnauba content) in the coming weeks. So I’ll post up my thoughts on that too in due course.
Paintwork sealant - It's not essential but I would recommend applying a base sealant prior to applying wax. It will give added shine and extend the life of your wax whilst giving a layer of extra protection to the paintwork. My workhorse sealant is Poorboys Ex-P which is excellent, easy to apply and has never let me down.
http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/sealants/poorboys-ex-p-sealant/prod_26.htmlBe aware that some sealants such as nano sealants are designed to be stand alone and wax on top of these does not last long at all. So if you want to use a sealant and finish with wax make sure they are compatible.
