Swirls
« on: 23 June 2010, 11:40 »
After having my car freckled in white paint by some morons, the clowns decided to wash it off. I was hesitant, as I knew they'd swirl my paint work.

What's the best way to get my paint back to smooth non swirled paint work like it was yesterday? They'll f**king pay, so I'm prepeared to use a specialist.

From my very limited knowledge of detailing to get rid of swirls you need to machine polish or clay it. I think, its one or the other . . lol

Yeah I'll pay for a pro to do it. I'm in the Watford area if there's anyone around the area about.

I visited a bodywork specialist today. They quoted £60 to go over the car with a compound that will remove the swirls. Not a bad price I think. They demonstrated the compound on a small section of my car and it looks impressive.
