Wheel brushes etc.
« on: 05 February 2010, 17:25 »
After some more advice from you guys please

I am having the wheels refurbed next week and having a cream colour finish on them. These will need a lot of attention to keep them clean me thinks  :undecided:.

My questions are:

1.What is the best type of wheel brush to use, Waxamomo had a triple set on offer recently and I wondered if these were the best compared to the microfibre/sponge type ?

2. What to seal the wheels with to make them easier to keep clean and what wheel cleaners do you recommend.

The wheels are Brock B3's

Thanks again,

Andy

This is a good brush :http://www.waxamomo.co.uk/productcart/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=212&idcategory=13 Good to reach inside the rim. A soft sponge/mitt to wash the face of the wheel and spokes.

And then seal them with this: http://www.waxamomo.co.uk/productcart/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=165&idcategory=13

that brush looks expensive in comparison to this...

http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=140073.0

and this sealant is cheaper too

http://www.waxamomo.co.uk/productcart/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=148&idcategory=32

even cheaper if this is your first time using waxamomo - use the 'gimme5' discount code at the checkout
