hiya names rob. ive recently bought  my girlfreind a mk3 golf cl on a k reg. its a gti look alike i think the colour is corn flower blue but not sure :embarassed: it needs a few niggly bits to do for the mot so i have a few questions about some defaults on the car as im new to the vw game. here goes!
1. the front wipers only work on full speed and when you knock the wiper switch arm down to stop the wipers they stop were they are instead of returning to the bottom of the windscreen. whats the problem??? is it a relay or the arm thats at fault?
2.rear seats getting wet then going moldy
3. the gear stickn seams a little sloppy.
any help would be verry apreciated thanks rob

Just kidding, as for the wet seat, take it out and lift the carpet to see if you have water under there.

Wipers, sounds like the stalk to be honest, easy cheap repair with a scrappy from a breakers yard, but wait for some more advice from peeps on here, someone has bound to have come across it b4.

Are the gears making any noises at all? Could be linkage but the boxes are not exactly solid with the golfs  
Wipers as above sounds like the stalk so should be easy fix.
As for the wet seats check in the boot for water and i take it the footwells are wet to? As the water is probably running down.

nar no noises from gear bbox just a little sloppy
