Slowest

Not at all.

Are you not aware of the 1.9NA D Golf3?

Now THAT's slow.  At least this has a huffer on it.  It develops sufficient torque to be hustled.  It will hustle a lot better with the front wheel bearing replaced.

The handling is loose-limbed, which suits Island roads well.

With the highly desired, optional dent & scratch pack

And VIC on it.
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.

Holiday cottages on the Isle of Wight for 2-10 people? PM me.

Don't get me wrong.

It's a sh*tter.

Longevity-wise the dumbest thing VW did to the GTIs was put those sill covers on. This doesn't have them.

Text from DannyP when I told him I was getting it:

Quote
You know the golf 3 tdi game dont you.   Your allowrd to run it on anything but diesel.   And it has to be something diffrent each week winner is the onr who manages to run it on largest variety of rsndom crap without killing it

Lest we forget, my Syncro only cost me £155.
