Polished out a parking scratch that some inconsiderate @rs3eh0le inflicted on my drivers door whilst parked on my works car park. Don't know exactly when it happened, other than sometime during the last 2 weeks. Fortunately, it seems to have polished out OK.

Locked my keys in my flat. So had to leave her at home and get the train to work. Might try and remember to take my keys with me tomorrow!

Dropped mine off at the stealers for some work to be carried out under warranty. The digital engine temp display has not ever worked since I got the car last september. On the previous visit they changed the sensor with no result, so they have ordered a new dash piece apparently, will be asking for a report when I pick it up. And I will also be asking them about my clutch release bearing which makes the horrible noise a few other members are also experiencing.

But I did get a nice Jetta 2 litre diesel for a courtesy car :)

I've drove it twice a day every day this week.
That's why its forecast to snow at the weekend

Thought I better as when vw phoned up he said I had only done 500 mile in it between Mar and Nov last year. :embarrassed:

The backend bangs and clatters into potholes and over road ridges and it has 10 times the squeeks and rattles of my 8 year old SEAT. One rattle even sounds like a bird chirping in the glovebox and also like the door panels rattling on there clips.
So much for vw quality. sort of explains why I did not drive it that much. :embarrassed:

Funny you should mention door rattles.............only today noticed a very loud rattle/vibration from front passenger door. Worse at low gear.  Removed all loose items out of glovebox, doors, cockpit etc, but rattle still there   it's driving me mad!  Never noticed it before but then I usually have music quite loud  no music on today.  I'm determined to seek out the source but after hearing about the issues other mk6ers have had, I'm not that hopeful

Drove it to go and look at my wife's dream home which has come up for sale.
Thankfully all the glitters is not gold and she returned disappointed.
So I'm safe to think about mk7's instead of DIY and mortgages.
