Engine Courier? Anybody done it?
« on: 12 December 2008, 10:28 »
Wondering if anybody has sent engine/box combos by courier and what the drill is in getting things prepped and ready to go, who they sent with, what sort of price and generally how it works?

i would say your best bet is to secure it to a pallet but not all couriers have a fork lift with them so the recipient will need to arrange one. pallets are usually around £60  to send within the uk

Out of interest does anyone know what kind of costs would I be looking at to get one shipped from the UK to Ireland?
Not low enough mk5
Not on the road enough mk3
