well finally got a back box worthy of fitting after collecting it from ECP

slammed it on, forgot the exhaust paste, crossed my fingers and ......................... it was blowing  :rolleyes:


trip up to my mates garage to book it for next weekend ( well use his ramp ) and he said help me get these 3 motors to the scrappy and I will do it after

So, 2 saabs and an an audi 80 later my mate has a wedge of cash for his holidays and the car was in the air, zorst off and back on in minutes.

As it was up in the air had a good look underneath

no major leaks  :cool:

all looks solid :afro:

then checked the gear selector issue

 :sick: :sick: :sick: :sick: :sick:

deffo need a new one of



mine is more square, well the 3 bits of it i could see sort of made a square  :laugh: :grin:

So thats the next job  :lipsrsealed:

Glad the exhaust is sorted now...

As far as the linkages go, change all of the rod bushes while you're at it.

Seriously though, just like leaving your coat on indoors, you won't feel the benefit.  :grin:  They will be shot, and since you're changing this part it would only take another 15 minutes to change the other rubbery washer/bushy sh*te.
