would be better if it had a turbo   :embarassed: but at 17 i could only afford to insure the 1.8n/a  
hopefully in a year or two when insurance isnt so much of a rip off i will be getting something like a mk2 ( light ect.)  and putting a 1.8t out of a mk4 in it or maybe something else and hopefully try get 200+bhp out of it and get it real light, but that will no doubt be a good few years

yeah i know what you mean. im 19 mate and im paying £970 o a mk2 like. its stupid. the most ive payed was for my first car which was £2780.

the insyrance these days are terrible dunno how poeple afford it tbh :/
