My bro has provisionally ordered an M sport.

So your be getting the itch sooner or later then?

Not for a BMW. I'm torn with either a fully loaded Amarok then a VAG project show car, fancy a mk3 VR OR MK1 caddy, or an R if they release one? Not sure really. I enjoy the 'community' part of owning VAG.

Hi guys

Not been on here much lately though have been keeping a beady eye on what is going on.

So my GTI is on its way to a new home shortly as I will be taking delivery of my new baby RR the Evoque on the first of March all being well.  Sadly there are absolutely no deals to be done on this car but have managed to wangle some floor mats, a full tank of fuel and for the car to have Autoglym applied...if this was not being thrown in I would of told them to stuff it.

I tried the place where your mate works Neil but they said he was never in when I phoned, so finally got a deal with a dealer 30 minutes from home.

Will be sad to see the end of my GTI but winter driving here on the North York Moors gets more hazardous every year and I had an itch I gotta scratch with regard to the Evoque.

Enjoy the Rover. sad to see another GTI go.
I too have been looking at suv 4x4 myself for winter use but one thing that struck me was most have ~8" ground clearance and cars have around 4" I'm thinking thats not really much of a difference  :undecided: considering the large amount of snow I had this week. The ones I looked at all seem to come with standard type car tires in large width sizes too. So on still undecided if its worth me changing.

Why don't you just buy a cheap Pajaro or something for when the going gets tough and supermarket carparks?
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.
