Hi all,

I am new to this Forum, have just sold me beloved Audi S3 on a 53 plate and pick up a lovely 06 Gti DSG tomorrow in black. My questions are... the car has a Full supersprint zorst and an inducitn kit, not sure which one.

Firstly is the Supersprint exhaust any good?? its the Oval one, cat back i think, mild sound not too loud which is good.

and

Is the induction kit possibly loosing power sucking in hot air. If so is a Carbonio upgrade needed??

Cheers in advance

hi, welcome to the forum!!

carbonio is a good induction kit with proof of power gains. milltek is the ONLY way to go with an exhaust

....I agree with Joe - Milltek are the best. Here's a pic of my Carbonio and I have a megabucks ITG panel filter in the stock box.

Really not sure what the induction kit is, will have a closer look tomorrow. Cant really bring my self to replace the exhaust as this was recently fitted from VW.

Will get some pics up soon, she has the 19" BBS CH alloys, think it needs a small drop.

Remap on the cards, have a  mate that works for Superchips and can do a great deal. Will read through previous posts to see what they are like.. Had a REVO on th S3.

cheers

I can also confirm carbonio and Milltek compliment the ED30!

Understand if the exhaust is new you may be reluctant, but you can always stick it on fleabay. The Milltek looks pretty stock to the untrained eye too

Welcome Damo

Catback systems will give you very little in terms of extra performance even if used along with a remap. For any real gains you need a full turbo-back exhaust with a free flow catalytic converter.

Until we know what the induction kit is on your car we can't really comment on whether it is any good or not. Generally speaking though, most induction kits will give some minor performance improvement. :nerd:

Mate SuperSprint make very good exhaust systems. if you feel that you want to change to a milltek, let me know as i will be more than happy to buy the supersprint from you.
