Engine shaft seals replacement?
« on: 16 September 2020, 17:05 »
Iv been googling and could not find an answer...

I am about to do a belt, tensioner and water pump change as its due and I`m thinking of replacing the camshaft, intermittent shaft and crankshaft seals while i`m at it, the car has 157,000 km I cant really find anything on the internet I found one guy said his 2016 Honda did 300,000km but that`s it.
Anyone have experience on this topic?

What engine do you have? Just asking out of curiosity if it's one where the water pump is actually driven by the cam belt.

As for the seals, I scrapped my 94 2E estate with 380Mm and they were intact, though you might get unlucky and they can fail much sooner.
