Stolen from South London
« on: 09 March 2020, 22:00 »
My GTI 8v was stolen at weekend. I had it from new nearly 33 years and only 75,000 miles. Spent a bit recently as the old girl needed attention. Finally got her Watertight etc and fixed most of the faults. Was red with Registration E163BEV. If anyone spots a lot of parts coming onto the market would be interested to know. The seats are quite rare, grey and red tartan check and were in very good condition. Also the hub caps these days are very hard to get as well. So a set of 4 hubcaps would be supicious.

I obviously wish i had taken more security precautions but this might be a waring to others to look into steering locks, immobilisers, trackers etc.

VIN WVWZZZ19ZJW068998
Engine number PB013988

Will try and dig out some photos.

Sorry to hear this mate, hope you get it back. There's so many ANPR cameras around these days that the police may well find it if they are driving it around
