Hmm, it's a pain BUT worth it. I can totally accept this trait given the comments I get at work with everyone telling me 'I like your car'. Makes me warm and fuzzy lol

Unfortunately, mud flaps will not stop it getting dirty. I had difficulty finding specific ones for my 7.5 GTI but I put them on soon after I got it. They make no difference in keeping dirt off the tailgate which attracts grime very quickly. They may stop mud spatter on rural roads., that’s about it.
