Heater Blower Not Working + Other Electrical Faults
« on: 30 December 2018, 19:53 »
Hi all!

Recently encounted an issue with my 91 Golf GL where the heater blower completely stopped working, no response from any setting at all. I've also discovered that the the glove box compartment light no longer works either, so I'm assuming maybe there's a fault down near the passengers footwell.

That's not all, only 2 of the 4 speakers in the car now work which I've never had problems with before. The front left speaker and rear right speaker work, the other two don't.

I've recently replaced the battery after it finally gave up on me last week and now I'm wondering if there's a earthing issue or possibly faulty relay? I've checked all fuses and all look good.

Anyone had a similar issue in the past? Would anyone happen to know which fuse/relay is used for the heater blower and glove box light?

Thanks
