He can't afford the repairs.  Then again he doesn't use the forum sponsors for his parts, so a fair bit of it is his own fault

Or someone at the test center hates him (well it's not the first big mot fail kirks had)

Did the garage diagnose the master cylinder?

Parts to replace all the failures can be had for -$150

Sell the head unit and pay for it all….

The man who loves sheep so much he moved from Wales to Australia, because he heard there were more sheep there has nailed it.

Sell sh*t, sort sh*t, whine less.

Oh and find another MOT test station.

Yep totally agree with the above, the parts bill isn't particularly huge and you have a garage at your disposal. I honestly can't see why this needs to be put off the road for so long even on a tight budget?
Getting another MOT isn't a bad call either, you might be pleasantly surprised unless it really is desperate for those repairs in which case you shouldn't be shocked at the currently failure.

But I haven't seen any sheep over here yet, loads of feral goats and camels though.

I'm taking it to another test station on Monday, see how that pans out. Tax runs out Monday too so depending on the outcome of the new test will determine what I do.

As for sorting out the car myself, I need a new jack, axle stands and whatnot so it's additional expense and let's be honest, I'm sh!t with car fixing!
