Drove it and on way home from work at a mini roundabout there was my car, 2 candy white GTis and a very shiny red R.  It was like an impromptu meet!   Also just seen four mk5s, all black with black badges.

Must be GTi day in Canterbury today  :laugh:

Washed and waxed.  Took ages as kept breaking off to watch Ashes...... Great win  :cool:

Didn't get the DA out today as pushed for time (and it needs claying before full polish).  But the fine scratches hand polished out a treat.  After washing it, I could see there were less damage than I first thought.    The thick layer of dirt seemed to have protected the paint  :laugh:    Just leaves the one long scratch which needs machining.

Left the GTI in the garage since sunday and been using the leon 130 tdi. Torque and boost, I keep forgetting how I enjoy using the leon when zipping about town since using the GTI.
Current Stable: Mk6 GTI, Mk1 GTI, Mk1 Leon & 3 non VW.

Used Chemical Guys Speed Wipe for the first time today, really nice product, brought it straight back to it best in 5 mins with no water at all. Defo worth a buy
