Didn't notice that first time around either, but then I was blinded by the shiny tailpipes

Fitted this getting ready for a remap in a month or two, got to say it was very easy to fit, cant beleive the size of the old airbox and the weight as well.

Has anyone else fitted something similar?  Im now wondering whether to just get something to cover the gap as it looks all horrible, apologies for not cleaning it all up, gotta head to work.

Yup got the same intake, doesn't bother me in the slightest the gap left, but then I'm not planning on going to shows to compare who has the most spare time to clean their engine bay

Washed (again) and waxed.  Lots of TLC recently as on leave.  Took ages to remove those annoying bits of lint (from MF cloths) that get lodged around the window seals.......grrr

Snow foam will sort that out

Thanks
Did snow foam it but I find lint gets transferred on when using the drying towels, though I try to avoid it!  Managed to get most of it out using combination of tacky side of masking tape and child's toothbrush.  Also find that running one of those instant shoe shine sponges (black) over the edge of the seal helps, at the very least it disguises it.

Just washed the ED35 and the Audi A1 after a couple of days offshore....me not the motors...

The Audi has had it's last wash from me as it's getting traded in tomorrow night for a new A3 5 door racing red...
