Drove it for the first time in 4 weeks as a treat as was going to work a tad later so avoided the jams of out London, goes well still and likes a drink of super lol

Yeah - pointless high kerbs on narrow country lanes, big lorries, no passing places - do not a good combination make!   :sad:

Left the side-lights on all day and returned to a rather flat battery and some odd results when I finally got it bump started.

1)  Kept getting "ESP Fault" when I was trying to get it started, but went away once on the go.
2)  Indicator "clicker" in the car going at double-speed, though the wing-mirror indocator lights seemed fine.
3)  Bulb warning light on the dash.

All back to normal, (I hope), once I'd driven it around for half an hour to get more juice into the battery.

Oops.

Got the first service done.  Drove around in a rubbish 1.4 Polo.  You need to drive another car to realise how good the golf is.  They also changed front fogs which had water in them... :smiley:

as my car wont be going anywhere until the roads clean up a bit i might de-tar and iron-x it tomorrow then polish, glaze and wax it

will see what the weather is doing first

put my coat in the washing machine and forgot i left car key, house keys and a pen in my pocket  :cry:



car key still worked fine and smells great and the pen didnt leak and wreck my coat! :evil: so VW do build some things right!

After nearly a year, I finally got around to going through VCDS and sorting out some of the tweaks suggested on this forum.  :smiley:
2012 GTD, 5dr manual, carbon grey, xenons, 18" Charlestown shadows, luxury pack, winter pack, leather, Bluetooth, colour display, cruise, RCD510 & service plan.
