I found a corner was cracked off my scuttle panel, got a new one from the stealers for £18 and fitted it, when I eventually got the wipers off  :shocked:



Afterwards


And cleaned my other wheels up ready to fit back on and take the winters off



Thinking of selling the CHs that i currently have fitted with the winter wellies on  :rolleyes:

Cleaned it, took it for a spin, frowned at the layers of dust and crap from the road that's now coating the lower half of the body again.   :angry:

Did a little more sanding and preparing of the secondhand Monza Shadows I intend to put on the car in the Spring.

I did the same with the Mk2 today. Cleaned it because it was covered in dust from being parked up since October, then too it out for a spin (to look at a potential new car) on what seemed like clean, dry roads, and it's bloody worse than when I started.

Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

Gave mine a good clean including a top up of sealant on the paintwork. Mind you, I cleaned Mrs Buck's first.
No driving it around today - just reversed it back into the garage.  :smiley:

took it to dealer for bodywork, wife crashed it a couple of days ago  :cry:

Before: GTI MKVI 5-door, candy white, DSG, Monza Shadow 18", s/r, bi-Xenons, DCC, 2 baby seats
Even before that: GT MKV 5-door, tornado red, manual, s/r, 1 baby seat

Ouch.  My other half's not driven the GTD yet.  But then she thinks her Fiesta 1.6 TDCi is a little too powerful!!

The first two points are the most important , the car is irrelevant , it can be fixed or replaced.
