Looking for mud flaps
« on: 23 December 2012, 17:52 »
Hey guys, I'm looking for front mud flaps for my Edition 35 however I cant seem to find any!

I was told when I bought it that the standard ones wouldn't fit because of the skirt. Does anyone know if there is anywhere that makes them or if the standard ones can be modified to fit without looking cheap?

thanks.

You can spec front mudflaps on a new 35 on the VW configurator [£69] so I don't see the problem. [Only stated as not suitable for R]

This has been discussed quite a bit, try the search field for some other threads. IIRC they don't fit the 35 but this was when the first model came out?

I did something similar when I had my Mk1 Leon Cupra, but mine were a bit bigger like the ones on the white car at the bottom of page 3.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

With wider wheels though surely its the functioning of the mud flaps rather than what they look like?
I actually quite like them.
